We feel that many visitors have their own agenda when they come over to Britain and so Secret Landscape Tours are designed to fit your plans. With this in mind, provided we don't have conflicting bookings, we leave the dates to suit you  and we run all tours throughout the year. Apart from our 10 day Tour, which accomodates up to 15 people, tour numbers range from one person to four, so are kept small, which we find most people prefer.  Larger tours by arrangement.

We arrange comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation, all travel between sites and an experienced Tour Guide.

We arrive the evening before the tour starts, so we can settle into our accommodation and be fresh and relaxed for the morning. Tours start at 9.30 am and end around 5pm in the afternoon. We normally disperse in the late afternoon. We break for an hour at lunchtime and probably have a tea break in the afternoon. We will be walking approx 1 - 3 miles each day. Let us know if you have any mobility problems. None of the terrain we shall be walking over is particularly difficult.

A deposit of £100 will secure your place on the tour of your choice (subject to availability). We need your payment in full no later than six weeks prior to departure. If you have to cancel your booking, we will refund your deposit as long as you give us notice of at least six weeks prior to the tour date. (There is an administration fee of £25 plus any deposit that may have been made to book accommodation.) If you have to cancel your booking after having paid in full, we will refund your payment minus your deposit. If you have to cancel after you have paid in full within six weeks of the start of the tour, we will refund you, minus your deposit, only if we are able to fill your place.

We strongly advise travel insurance to cover yourself against any eventuality.

On successfully booking your tour you will receive confirmation, accommodation details and your tour itinerary. We reserve the right to vary the itinerary if inclement weather makes certain exposed sites uncomfortable to visit. We try and remain within our schedule but we don't rush our visits, allowing time for full appreciation of the particular magic that each site offers. British weather is changeable, so pack both light clothing and a warm sweater. A warm jacket and a waterproof is also desirable. Don't forget comfortable walking boots!
